NEW SCHEDULE: All the key times for the 2026 season-opener in Australia!
The WorldSBK and WorldSSP riders are lined up and raring to race this weekend, check out the weekend’s full schedule down below!
The upcoming 2026 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship season is set to bring new stars, rivalries and storylines to the table, and the Australian Round’s season opener is just around the corner. Talented rookies join the field, fan-favourite riders suit up in new colours, and powerful new machines get set to debut Down Under. The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit will play host once again to a weekend of pure motorsport as WorldSBK puts you closer than ever to all the action. Friday morning will pop the cork on the 2026 season with WorldSSP’s Free Practice at 10:25 (Local Time, UTC +11), followed by WorldSBK’s FP1 at 11:20. In the afternoon, WorldSSP will set their Race 1 grid at 14:55 in their Tissot Superpole session, ahead of WorldSBK’s FP2 at 16:00 to close out the opening day. Saturday gets started for WorldSBK at 10:00 for their FP3, just prior to the WorldSSP 10-minute Warm Up session at 10:30. WorldSBK will hold their Tissot Superpole session later on at 13:00 before lights out on WorldSSP’s Race 1 at 14:30, and WorldSBK’s Race 1 at 16:00. The weekend’s final day gets things rolling with both Championships’ Warm Ups back-to-back starting at 10:30 for WorldSBK, prior to WorldSBK’s Tissot Superpole Race at 13:00. Closing out the opening weekend’s fireworks, WorldSSP will take to the track at 14:30 for Race 2, and WorldSBK will follow at 16:00.
